Latest Mural; Japanese Herring Fisheries
Paying respect to an entire industry that was wiped out in the second world war. This mural completed in 2023 commemorates the Japanese families that lived and worked in Nanaimo for the herring fisheries.
Pithead - Coal Mine - Protection Island
Paying respect to the original industry that built Nanaimo. Massive amounts of Coal and thousands of workers were brought up this Pithead. The base as well as the mine still exists on this location.
